An Awareness Campaign was launched in Ramnagar Gaupalika, Sarlahi to educate local farmers on the proper use of pesticides, providing essential technical advice to enhance agricultural practices. This initiative focused on promoting safe and effective pesticide application, reducing health risks, and minimizing environmental impact. Through workshops, demonstrations, and distribution of informative materials, farmers gained valuable insights into best practices for pest management.
We distributed blankets to homeless individuals in the underprivileged communities of Ramnagar Rural Municipality, Sarlahi, Nepal. This initiative aimed to provide warmth and comfort during the cold nights, helping to alleviate the hardships faced by those in vulnerable situations. Our team worked closely with local organizations to identify those in greatest need, ensuring that the blankets reached those who would benefit most.
For Women
We conducted a Dowry Awareness Program in Balara Nagarpalika, impacting 3,500 women. This initiative aimed to educate the community about the harmful effects of dowry practices and to promote gender equality. Through workshops and interactive discussions, participants learned about the legal implications of dowry and engaged in conversations about the importance of valuing women beyond material wealth.
For Disabled
In Ramnagar Municipality, Sarlahi, we held a tricycle distribution event aimed at enhancing mobility and independence for individuals with disabilities. This initiative provides essential support to those facing mobility challenges, enabling them to navigate their communities more freely. Each tricycle was thoughtfully provided to ensure that recipients can participate more fully in daily activities, fostering greater inclusion and empowerment.
Menstrual Hygiene
In an effort to support and empower girls in Ramnagar Municipality, we organized the distribution of menstrual hygiene products and school dresses. This initiative aims to promote health, dignity, and education for young girls, ensuring they have the necessary resources to manage their menstrual cycles with confidence. By providing these essential items, we hope to reduce absenteeism in schools and encourage a more supportive environment for girls' education.
For Girl Students
We proudly distributed 60 bicycles to girl students in Ramnagar Municipality, promoting both education and mobility. This initiative aims to empower young girls by providing them with a reliable means of transportation to and from school. With their new bicycles, these students can travel more easily, reducing travel time and increasing their access to education. This effort not only encourages attendance but also fosters a sense of independence and confidence among the girls.
For Girl Students
We successfully organized a school bag distribution program for 1,200 school girls, aiming to support their educational journey and ensure they have the necessary tools for learning. Each bag was filled with essential supplies, including notebooks, pens, and other materials, to help equip the students for success in their studies.
For Women
We launched a comprehensive training program focused on sewing skills and gender conflict resolution for 2,350 school girls. This initiative aims to empower young women by equipping them with practical skills that can lead to economic independence while also addressing critical issues related to gender equality. Through hands-on sewing workshops, participants learn valuable techniques and gain confidence in their abilities. Additionally, the program includes discussions on gender conflict, promoting awareness and encouraging constructive dialogue.
For OBC Communities
We organized a Saree Distribution Program in Ramnagar Municipality, benefiting 350 individuals from the OBC community. This initiative aimed to promote cultural identity and provide support to underprivileged groups. By distributing sarees, we sought to empower women and celebrate their heritage, ensuring they have access to traditional attire for various occasions.
For OBC Communities
A Literacy Training Program was launched to empower 2,000 individuals from the OBC (Other Backward Classes) communities. This initiative focused on enhancing basic reading and writing skills, providing participants with the tools necessary for better educational and employment opportunities. Through structured classes and engaging learning materials, the program aimed to build confidence and foster a love for learning.
For Girls
The Beti Padhao Beti Bachao program was implemented in Ramnagar, Sarlahi, impacting 2,000 women and girls. This initiative aims to promote the importance of education for girls and raise awareness about their rights and empowerment. Through workshops, community discussions, and educational resources, participants gained insights into the value of education in transforming lives and breaking societal barriers. The program also emphasized the need to combat gender discrimination and foster a supportive environment for women.
